Join us to salute Zach Lewis, this year’s Ad Club Student Internship and Scholarship winner! You’ll also get to meet Emily Stull, Zach’s fellow Utica College student and Ad Club’s very first Student Ambassador. Zach was charged with coordinating and marketing the first phase of Ad Club’s outreach to local college students. This initiative will include a special workshop to be conducted by the Ad Club Board April 27 at Utica College. We plan to meet with communications/public relations students to discuss careers in marketing and advertising, and to promote Ad Club and its mission. We will also offer on-the-spot resume and portfolio reviews. As an incentive to increase student membership in Ad Club, we’ll also be offering free mentoring services. More on that below.

For our May 3 program, Zach will make a formal presentation to Ad Club. He will cover the strategies
he used in his Ad Club marketing project, what he learned, and the results of our April 27 Utica College workshop.

Please be sure to join us to meet Zach, welcome him to the Ad Club family, and congratulate him on a job well done! Ad Person of the Year will return in 2012.
