WHO
CAN JOIN?
According to Ad Club's constitution,
"persons of good standing in the community among whose principal
functions are buying, selling, or creating public communications, or
components thereof" are eligible for membership.
MAY
GUESTS ATTEND THE MEETINGS?
Yes. Guests are most welcome. Members
may bring guests to regular dinner meetings, provided reservations are
made in advance. The reasonable cost of $25 includes hot and cold hors
d'oeuvres, complete dinner, and the evening's program. Many members
regularly bring spouses, employers/employees, suppliers, clientsand
all are encouraged to bring prospective members. Special events are
generally open to guests, too, although guest rates are usually higher
than member rates at these functions, especially if the Club is subsidizing
any part of the costs. Reservations are required for all functions,
with or without guests.
WHAT
DOES IT COST?
Just $150 a year. Your membership
fee covers eight monthly meetings, including the meal. If you can't
attend a meeting, a bonafide employee of your company can attend in
your place at no additional charge. Special events are sometimes subsidized
(all or in part) by the Club treasury. Attendees and their guests make
up the difference.

CLUB DUES
Currently, dues are $150 for the
full Ad Club season. For new members joining after January 31,
the fee is $80. You can mail your completed
application along with your check to the name and address on the
application.

I HAVE TO DO IS ATTEND?
Ad Club is what you want it to be
for you. You can simply attend the dinner meetings and special events
for fun and educational value or you can get involved in the actual
workings of the Club by volunteering to work on one or more of the committees
that handle programs, telephone, website, membership, newsletter, special
events, public relations, outings, etc.
